What is the maximum amount that I may donate?
Per federal law, an individual may contribute a maximum of $2300 to a candidate per election cycle. The primary elections and general elections are considered two separate cycles. So you may contribute a total of $4600, with the first $2300 going to the primary election and any subsequent contributions going to the general election.
I am a foreigner; can I make a contribution to Friends of Hillary?
Hillary appreciates all of the support she receives from people everywhere around the world. In accordance with federal law, Friends of Hillary cannot accept contributions from foreign nationals. Foreign nationals also must not engage in fundraising activities on behalf of Friends of Hillary. Individuals who have permanent resident (e.g. "green card" holders) status in the US may contribute to Friends of Hillary.
