Thank You Pennsylvania!

by Matt Tepper
4/22/2008 10:10:01 PM

Hillary just sent out the following message to her Pennsylvania supporters:

Dear Friend,

Our critically important victory tonight is an especially personal one to me because of my deep roots here in Pennsylvania. I'm so grateful for all the time and effort you put into this win, and I promise that as president, I'm going to fight for you every day.

There will be much more to do beginning tomorrow. But tonight, let's just celebrate the fact that you and I are part of a remarkable community of people tough enough, passionate enough, and determined enough to win big when everything is on the line.

Thanks so much for all you do.

Election Eve

by Kathleen Strand
4/22/2008 1:06:27 AM

The crowd went wild at the University of Pennsylvania Palestra Arena as Hillary delivered her Election Eve remarks. Read some of the local press coverage and check out this great video!

"This has been an extraordinary campaign, and it has been for all the right reasons," Clinton told the audience...who frequently drowned her out by stomping on the old bleachers of the University of Pennsylvania's arena.

...

The theme for the evening was comeback. Gov. Rendell, noting that Clinton had been counted out several times, predicted the naysayers would be wrong again. "We all better get used to saying two words: Madame President."

Hillary sent out the following message to Pennsylvanians:

Dear Friend,

You and I have taken a remarkable journey together through this entire campaign. And tomorrow, April 22, you will have your say in one of the closest presidential nomination contests ever.

I believe Pennsylvanians want a fighter and a champion in the White House. I want to bring new, good jobs to Pennsylvania again, provide health care to every single American, and keep our country safe at home and abroad.

I can't thank you enough for all your hard work and all the support you have offered. I would be honored to have your vote tomorrow.

After you vote, I would appreciate any help you can give to help your fellow Pennsylvanians get to the polls. Visit one of our local campaign offices and we'll get you set up. Your support is critical to our victory here. Click here for regional office information.

I know that together, we will celebrate a big victory tomorrow.

Sincerely,

Hillary

by Matt Tepper
4/20/2008 12:13:22 PM

Hillary spent Sunday crisscrossing the state, talking with Pennsylvania families, and earning their support. In Abington, Bethlehem, Johnstown, and State College Hillary proved that she is ready to lead this nation starting on day one. Hillary is best prepared to beat John McCain in November and when she's president the voices of Pennsylvania families will finally be heard.
